I have had a huge interest in finance for many years (enough to spend several years obtaining an MBA), and my first job was actually in finance at a major computer company. However, I spent most of my professional career in engineering, as you can see on my LinkedIn profile. In later engineering years, I was a Director of Engineering for both small and large companies and worked at one of the Federally Funded Research Centers (FFRDC), MITRE, where I was the department head for national and global Strategic Defense Initiatives (SDI), more commonly known as Star Wars. These were all positions that not only carried a lot of responsibility but also required various government security clearances and integrity.
Once I retired from engineering, I wanted to help companies with alternative financing. However, it is a brilliant approach to bringing more money into a company without a lot of work or collateral, at no up front cost to your company.
